Ghassoul is a volcanic clay harvested in the region of the Middle Atlas in Morocco

Of which the only known deposit in the world is in Morocco, in the middle atlas 200 kilometers from Fez. Ghassoul contains no surfactant and cleans by a physical process by absorbing impurities and greases. It respects the hydrolipidic film of the skin and the hair and does not irritate the sebaceous glands. It is known for its softening and cleansing properties.

After scrubbing, you will have the right to be covered with clay all over your body. The clay will be mixed with rose water, orange blossom, patchouli or lavender. It’s you who will choose!

For many Maghreb women, it is unthinkable to practice scrub without finishing with the ghassoul mask (natural earth of clay, Arabic “rassala” to wash). It is an essential element of the rituals of the hammam. It is used as a shampoo and soap.
